Sunday School & Discipleship Ministry
MISSION - To develop true disciples of Jesus Christ by providing Word-Centered Christian education for both children and inspiring a desire to build a personal relationship with God, while supporting the mission and vision of the Emmanuel Apostolic Church
The Sunday School caters to all individuals as small groups sorted by age-specific criteria. "Call them all together—men, women, children, and the foreigners living in your towns—so they may hear this Book of Instruction and learn to fear the LORD your God and carefully obey all the terms of these instructions" (Deut. 31:12).
This ministry aims to provide Biblical teaching to educate, empower, and disciple individuals in all levels of development. The outcome of this ministry is to develop individuals who will possess the ability to commend and defend their faith. The theological foundation is based on the command given by Jesus to his disciples in Matthew 28:19 and Acts 1:8: To become disciples and then make disciples for God's kingdom.
The Sunday School is an instructional arm of the church that requires study by the teachers and the students. Each Sunday School class has a teacher who acts as the shepherd of that group. The teacher's role is to study and present God's word to the students and utilize students' feedback to confirm that learning has taken place.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all our ministry meetings are conducted via our ZOOM platform and or by other mediums.
