The Emmanuel Apostolic Church Music and Fine Arts department is a comprehensive organization that meets the performing arts needs for a diverse conglomerate of constituents that attend The Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Miramar. Performing Arts includes music, drama, and dance delivered through live performances, as well as, pre-recorded media (audio and video) for use on the web, social media and other applicable means of communications. We are passionate about Christian worship through the arts and embrace the values that it contributes to our church and society: therefore, we are creative, energetic, innovative and proactive, consistently seeking out new ways to realize our mission, vision, core principles and goals. The music director will organize and lead the music ministry of the church and assist the pastor during worship services. Oversee the entire music ministry of the church. Choose music for and direct the adult choir Provide training for choirs and musical groups. Recruit new members for the music ministry Select and coordinate congregational songs with sermon topics and seasonal themes. Lead congregational singing. Arrange for special music during every regular service—either by adult choir, special musical groups, soloists, youth or children’s choirs. Maintain musical instruments and arrange for tuning and upkeep. Organize and maintain choir robes. Supervise church pianist, organist, orchestra director and youth and children’s choir directors. Coordinate with sound technician as needed. Oversee budget and expenditures for the drama ministry. The Music and Fine Arts Department host an annual concert called “REJOICE” in the month of November.
Choir & Praise Team
Praise Team - Is an anointed team of worshippers that lead the Emmanuel Apostolic Church into praise and worship every Sunday. The Sanctuary Choir - The Sanctuary choir sings a variety of music styles. They are the sitting choir for 3 Sundays of each month. The Youth Choir - The Youth Choir sings more contemporary styles of gospel music. The Youth Choir participates in performances as scheduled and is the sitting every of 1st Sunday of each month.
The EAC Speech Choir – This is a performance group comprising of male and female voices. This anointed group recites speeches in unison often with elements of choreography and some form of props or costumes in order to bring the speech to life. A variety of musicians are utilized to assist the music director. They play during rehearsal, for the choir and during the church services.
The Throne Room & Esther Dance Ministry - An anointed group of dancers whose main purpose is to usher in the presence of God for worship services, special services and church events. This ministry primarily exists to glorify God in the process to communicate the good news or the gospel of our Lord Jesus. Psalm 150:4 “Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.”A dance is a movement of the body in rhythm to music. The Hands of Glory Mime Team - The Mime team brings a powerful expression of silent worship through dance and interpretation.
The EAC Drama Team - The EAC Drama Team is comprised of a skilled group of volunteers that offer productions for sacred services and special events. We are in a world where the arts like theater music have a great effect on people. In the church it’s no different. Even though we are reaching many souls with the traditional method of songs and a sermon, we feel that there are those who can be effectively touched with the gospel trough drama. So though the message of the cross does not change, the methods do need to be constantly revised to reach the current generation. “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10 constantly changing world. EAC Drama Ministry represents the Word of God in action. It is the gospel of our Lord Jesus being presented by way of drama music visual arts Ina creative way.
